Depending on what type of transfer you'd like to make, the answers to your question can vary. We'll be happy to review a few options with you.
If you'll be setting up an ACH (direct deposit) transfer from another financial institution, you'll want to ensure that they have your correct routing number, account number, and they must have encoded your account properly as either a checking or a savings account. If you're uncertain of any of this information, you're more than welcome to call us anytime at 888-751-9000, 24/7 to speak with one of our Banking Specialists. After account verification they'd be more than happy to review this info with you.
Please note, if you already have the above information, it won't be necessary to contact us in order for your transfer to be completed.
If you'll be requesting funds from your other financial institution using the TD Bank External Transfers service, we recommend that you contact a Digital Specialist 24/7 directly at 800-493-7562 if you have any concerns prior to making the transfer. At that time, we can ensure that the account is properly set up for the service and that you have any required information you might need.
Additionally, the routing number for wire transfers is different from the routing number assigned to your personal account and we would be happy to provide you with the wiring information, if this is the type of transfer you are sending.
Information needed depends on how the funds are being sent, US Dollars or Foreign Currency. For domestic wires, or an international wire being sent in US dollars, please provide the following information to any individual or financial institution wiring funds into your TD Bank account:
- Wire To: TD Bank Wilmington, Delaware
- ABA(Routing)#: 031101266
- Credit To: Your Name (exactly as it appears on your account)
- Your account number
And if you'll be receiving an International Wire in Foreign Currency, additional information is required.
Please provide the following information for that type of wire: Correspondent Bank SWIFT Code: TDOMCATTTOR; Correspondent Bank: The Toronto Dominion Bank, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, M5k 1A2; Beneficiary Bank SWIFT Code: NRTHUS33XXX; Beneficiary Bank: TD Bank, N.A., 6000 Atrium Way Mount Laurel, NJ 08054 USA.
Keep in mind also that depending on the currency you are receiving, some transactions may take longer than others. And please note that we do not process or disburse funds from wire transfers received designated Pay upon Proper Identification (PUPID) and return them to the sender.
