I have an account in TD Bank and I am currently not living in the US. I want to inform you that I will be travelling to New York from March 23 to April 2nd and I will be using my debit card there. Can you register this information from this email or do I have to personally go to a TD Bank on my arrival to NY?

Good evening, Stephanie and thanks for connecting with us! We'll be glad to let you know how you can prepare for your trip.
If you plan to travel, we recommend contacting us with your travel information to prevent any decline to your cards while you're away. You can do so by calling our Customer Service Line 24/7 at 888-751-9000, and we will be happy to place your travel notification. If you are still located outside of the country, please call us from outside the United States via phone at 1-856-751-9000, or collect with operator assistance from a land line phone by asking the operator to dial 1-215-569-0518.
Another easy way to set a travel notification, especially if you are not in our footprint right now, is to send us a Secure Message from your TD Bank Online Banking account. Please log in here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq with your User Name and Password. You can then send us a secure message by clicking on the Customer Service tab, and using the Send a Message link. Please include your exact travel dates, destinations and any connecting flight information if applicable.
If you would like to use your TD Bank Visa Credit card while traveling, please call 888-561-8861 to place your travel notification 24/7 with a TD Card Services Representative. To reach TD Bank Card Services from an international location, please use the toll-free collect number. 706-644-3266.
Please keep in mind, a travel notification helps us recognize unauthorized transactions on your account. Please be informed that for your protection we will continue to monitor your card activity even when a notification is set. We also recommend carrying more than one method of payment while traveling, just in case you encounter any acceptance issues. For more travel tips while overseas, please visit http://bit.ly/1gDrDYu.
