Hello, I have a student account. If I transfer to another TD account, is it free or not? Thank you.

Welcome to TD Helps, Hanbin. We'd be happy to review the different types of transfers we offer and the fees that may be applied for them.
If you are transferring between two of your own TD Checking accounts, there is no fee applied for moving the funds. However, if you are transferring funds out of your own TD Savings account to another of your TD accounts, please note that there is a limit of six transfers you can make from a Savings or Money Market account per month before a fee is assessed. Here is our Personal Deposit Account Agreement http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ for you to view for more information (pages 6-7). We also invite you to visit http://bit.ly/1cTejgt to view our Fee Schedule.
You also have the option of transferring funds to other people, regardless of institution. Through Online Banking you may access the Person-to-Person Payment feature which will allow you to send funds from your TD Bank account to someone else's account either at TD Bank or another Financial Institution. You have two delivery options when sending a Person-to-Person payment. There is the three business day option, which has a fee of $1.00. You also have the option to send the payment with the next business day delivery, which has fee of $7.00. To qualify for the next day delivery option, you must wait 90 days from your first successful three day transfer and must not have had any transactions that overdrew your account in the past 90 days. Please note that fees are subject to change and you may view current information on the same fee schedule listed above. If you'd like any assistance with Person-to-Person transfers, reach our Tech Support Specialists 24/7 at 800-493-7562, 24/7.
If you choose this service, you must first be enrolled in Online Banking. If you are not currently enrolled in Online Banking, you may complete the process by visiting here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. To begin, you will need your account number, ATM/Visa Debit Card number, Social Security number and email address.
If you have any difficulties with enrollment or any questions in general, please contact our Banking Specialists for assistance 24/7 at 888-751-9000. Or, stop in at any TD Bank Store and for lobby hour information and locations near you please take a look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this helps answer any transfer questions you may have, Hanbin. If you have any additional questions please let us know!
