Hi Michael, thanks for joining us on TD Helps today.
If you haven't already, we advise you to give us a call, so that we may close your debit card. We can be reached via phone at 888-751-9000, available 24/7. Once you've connected with a Representative, you may then ask for your balance, upon account verification.
If you are unable to call, and have access to your online banking, you may send us a secure message, requesting for your debit card to be closed. To send a secure message, you will first want to log into your TD Bank online profile by clicking here: https://go.td.com/2H8iXLO. Once you've successfully logged in, please select the 'Account Options' tab, and click on 'Account Services'. From there, you will be able to send us a secure message. If you have downloaded our mobile banking app for your smartphone, you may also use this method to send a secure message. From your mobile banking, log in and select 'Send a Secure Message' from the side Menu.
Through online banking, you may also check your balance, using the link provided above. The balance to your account can be found under the 'Accounts' tab, next to your account name. This may be found through mobile banking, on the app, as well!
Lastly, you may come visit us at your local TD Bank Store, to close your debit card. Please be sure to bring your valid photo identification, if you are looking to obtain your balance, or any account information!
We're sorry we couldn't directly assist you today, Michael. As TD Helps is not considered a secured forum, we do not have access to your account.
We hope this helps, and that we hear from you soon!
