Thanks for joining us on TD Helps this morning, Lester.
When logging into Online Banking, we suggest to confirm that your "Caps Lock" key is off and your "Num Lock" key is on. This could be causing Online Banking to not recognize the information you are submitting.
As you seem to know your user name, you may follow this link: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. This will direct you to reset your password by clicking on the link "Forgot your password?" From the drop down box select Personal then type in your user name. You will also be asked to type the last four numbers of your Social Security number. After this, please select continue. Online Banking will then ask you to answer two of the security questions you set up when you first enrolled in Online Banking. When you answer them correctly, you will then be asked to change your password. When creating your new password, here a few tips we can share with you:
Use a combination of numbers, letters and special characters, but no spaces
Your password should be unique. Memorize it and do not disclose it to anyone else
Avoid using names, dates or numbers tied to your identity (such as birthday, family name, pets, street, etc.)
Use a password that differs from your other banking, email and social media accounts. Change it periodically, ideally every 90 days.
If you are unable to provide the information required, that’s okay. We are here to help! You can call us directly at 888-751-9000. Our Banking Specialists are available to you 24/7. After account verification, we would be happy to help reset your password and get you back up and running for your Online Banking. If you are unable to successfully verify your account or if you prefer to sit with a Customer Service Representative, you can visit us at any local TD Bank Store during lobby hours. For hours and locations near you, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you are unable to log in to TD Bank BusinessDirect, we ask that you contact us 24/7 by dialing 800-493-7562, option 2 for help.
If you are referring to a TD Bank Credit Card, you may contact us 24/7 at 888-561-8861 to speak with a TD Credit Card Specialist or if you are referring to a TD Bank Go Card, please call us 24/7 at 855-219-8050.
We hope that this helps, Lester. Enjoy your day.
