Thanks for writing in and sorry to hear you've encountered some difficulties with your online account, Karen. We'll be glad to point you in the right direction. First, we'd like to provide a little information for you, considering that you mentioned that we were unable to locate your account number when you called. If you've had your account for some time with no activity, please note that Savings, Checking and Money Market Accounts are automatically changed to an "Inactive" status after one year of no Customer-initiated activity, and these accounts will be "Dormant" after 3 or 5 years of no activity depending on your region or State. Please see the article listed here: http://1.usa.gov/1ED20S9, which reviews information about abandoned or unclaimed accounts in the US. Please keep in mind that once an account becomes dormant, it can be turned over to the State in which the account was opened. Please note that if this has occurred with your account, you'll be able to contact the State to claim the funds. There is no time limit to do this. You may be able to locate the contact information via your State's website, or you're welcome to contact us and we'll be able to provide that info over the phone. We can be reached 24/7 at 888-751-9000. If this does not apply to your account, we would recommend that you locate any documentation you have regarding your account, including your account number(s) and ATM/Debit card numbers if available, and give us a call 24/7 at the number just mentioned, so that we can find the account for you. Once we have done so, we'll be able to help you with your online enrollment or get you logged back in to your account. Since we notice that you're writing in from Michigan, we understand that you may not be able to visit one of our Stores. Just in case you will be in our area, please also feel free to visit us at any Store listed here: http://bit.ly/TDStores. We hope this provides some help, Karen. Best of luck and have a great upcoming week.
