Thanks for contacting TD Helps, Sandra.
We're happy to hear you want to open an account with us. For your convenience, you are able to open an account online using a valid U.S. Passport Card with a photo.
We offer many different types of checking accounts. To view and compare our checking accounts, visit http://go.td.com/1sv7Jc2 or check out our Checking Selector Tool http://go.td.com/KmmHe7 for help with selecting a checking account that is the best fit for you.
Once you have chosen the checking account that best fits your needs, you may then proceed with opening the account in the most convenient way for you. Please know that regardless of the method you choose, you will need a Social Security Number and a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.). Should you decide that opening your account online is no longer convenient for you, you also have the option of opening an account at a Store location, or by calling and speaking with a Live Customer Service Representative at 1-888-751-9000, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We have provided a link here http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR to help you better locate a Store location nearest you.
We hope this helps, Sandra, and please enjoy the rest of your day.
