Thanks for stopping by TD Helps today, Alex. You'll be happy to know that there are a few ways that you can transfer funds into a TD account!
The quickest way to send funds to a TD account from another Financial Institution is to send a wire transfer, in which case you will need to provide the following information to your financial institution:
For funds being sent in US Dollars you will need:
Wire to: TD Bank, N.A. Wilmington, Delaware
TD Customer's full name as it appears on their account statement
TD Customer's account number
We will post all incoming wires the banking day they are received. We do not process incoming Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) wires and we return them to the sender. Please keep in mind that fees may apply, for more information on the fees please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
As you mentioned that TD Customer does not have access to Online Banking, we can assist them in setting it up to request and receive funds externally via our Person-to-Person Payment service. This service provides flexible ways to send and receive money to and from any other individual's bank account within the United States. It is simple and secure, with several delivery options. You’re welcome to check out http://bit.ly/1pADlWD for all of the exciting details.
Once they've enrolled for Online Banking, they can use our Person-to-Person transfer service. Even with a person who is initiating the transfer being a non-TD Bank customer, they will still be able to request the funds from this person through this feature.
If they would like to enroll in Online Banking, they may do so at any time here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. They will need to provide their Social Security number, their TD Bank ATM/Visa Debit Card number, account number, and their email address. If they have any trouble enrolling, they may call us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000 or by visiting a TD Store during lobby hours. Our Representatives will be happy to help them enroll. They will have immediate access to their account(s) after the sign-up process.
We hope this helps, Alex and have a good day.
