My tax refund check has my husband and i's name on it, but we don't have a joint account (and don't wish to open one together) so can I deposit it into my checking account?

Thank you for coming to TD Helps with your question, Susie.
We apologize as government and insurance checks must be deposited into an account that lists both yours, and your husband's name on the account. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. You have the option of visiting any of your local TD Stores with your husband to request that your husband be added to your account as an authorized signer, or you be added to his. We ask that you both please have valid Photo ID with you when you visit.
If you have any additional questions you're welcome to give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or visit any TD location. For a listing of our Stores please view: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this helps and take care!
