Hello I am a Canadian citizen who has been accepted to medical school in Caribbean. I was not able to get my parents successfully cosign for my student loan due to there credit history. However, I have family members in United States whom are American citizens and are willing to cosign for me. Are there any banks in U.S. or Canada that will accept a Canadian for a student loan with a American cosigner? Thank you.

Thanks for joining us here at TD Helps, David.
We'd like to let you know that TD Bank does not offer Student or Education loans specifically; however, the funds received from certain types of loans (such as a Home Equity Loan or Line of Credit) may be used to pay for college expenses. We recommend connecting with a member of our Financial Solutions Group at 800-937-5020 (available 24/7) so that we may discuss this further and determine which one of our current loan products may suit your needs.
If you'd like to familiarize yourself with our loan products before you call, you can find some information about them here: http://bit.ly/1x6GB4l . You may also submit your application with your cosigner right online. Secondly, you may speak with a Financial Solutions Group (FSG) Specialist 24/7 at 800-937-5020. They will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have along with helping you with your Loan application.
And, if you'd prefer to visit us at a TD Bank Store location, please find the closest one here: http://bit.ly/TDStores. We'd be happy to discuss your options in greater detail in person.
We hope this helps. Please let us know if you need anything else. Have a good one.
