I'm a U.S. citizen looking to attend St. Lawrence college in Canada and do have proof of acceptance and was just wondering if TD would give, a private student loan or any help as to what bank would

It's great to have you come to TD Helps with your question.
We'd like to let you know that TD Bank does not offer Student or Education loans specifically; however, the funds received from certain types of loans (such as a Home Equity Loan or Line of Credit) may be used to pay for college expenses. We recommend connecting with a member of our Financial Solutions Group at 800-937-5020 (available 24/7) so that we may discuss this further and determine which one of our current loan products may suit your needs.
If you'd like to familiarize yourself with our loan products before you call, you can find some information about them here: http://bit.ly/1x6GB4l. And, if you'd prefer to visit us at a TD Bank Store location, please find the closest one here: http://bit.ly/TDStores. We'd be happy to discuss your options in greater detail in person.
As you'll be in Canada, we invite you to take a look here: http://bit.ly/1eCIP2G to see how our friend Chris answered a question similar to yours.
We certainly hope this helps and good luck with your studies.
