I just opened an account yesterday and i created my username. But, today when trying to log into my TD online banking it says something along the lines of "The username or password is incorrect".

Great to have you join the TD family, Elizabeth, and sorry to hear of any troubles logging in. We can certainly provide some direction!
First, if you're experiencing an issue when trying to log in to your personal Online Banking account, we recommend checking to make sure that you have entered your credentials as you intended. Please keep in mind that passwords are case-sensitive, and please check to be sure that your Caps Lock key is in the intended position.
If you are still unable to log in and believe you have the correct user name for your account, you may reset your password by following this link: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. Once you're at the Log In page, please click on the "Forgot your password?" link that is located under the password field. Select the account type and type your user name. You will then be asked to answer two security questions and when you successfully answer the questions given, you can then reset your password. Kindly note that if you typically use our Mobile App, you'll just need to visit our full site at www.tdbank.com to make this update. Once complete, feel free to use the app again.
If your account has been locked or you don't remember your user name, please contact one of our Banking Specialists 24/7 at 888-751-9000. They will be able to assist you in determining how your account became locked and reset your account access.
