Currently overseas, just realized that my credit card was wrongfully charged by a site that I have NEVER subscribed to. What can I do? They refunded most of the charges, but I still have to pay $5 for no reason. I know $5 isn't alot, but I don't think I should be charged for not even using the card. Please Advise.

In reply to Daphne, Markham
We're sorry to hear that your credit card was compromised, Daphne. We'd like to help direct you.
We'll need to first close your credit card to prevent any further unauthorized transactions from being charged. Please give us a call at 888-561-8861. We have Representatives available 24/7 that will secure your current credit card and have a new one ordered for you. We're glad to hear that the merchant has refunded most of the charges, but you should not be responsible for anything that was not your purchase, regardless of the amount. When you call us at that number above, we can assist you in filing a dispute to receive a refund for anything that has not yet been credited.
As you've mentioned that you're currently overseas, you may have some difficulty calling an 888 phone number. In that case, you may also contact TD Card Services at 706-644-3266.
You've listed your location as Markham. Just in case your inquiry is actually in regard to a Credit Card account you have with TD Canada Trust, rather than with us here at TD Bank in the U.S., we'd like to get you in touch with a representative in Canada that can help.
TD Canada Trust's Credit Card Customer Service Team can be reached directly at 800-983-8472. We're certain that they'll will be able to provide you with all the info you'll need to secure your account and dispute the charge you have not yet been refunded.
We hope to hear from you soon, Daphne. Have a nice weekend!
Candice A, Mount Laurel
