Good evening John,
This is a great question and we're glad you stopped by to ask.
First, we would like to let you know that we have different types of accounts which can assess a Maintenance fee of $15.00. Since this is the case, we would have to review your account with you in particular to let you know how to avoid this.
As it is a popular account, if you are referring to a Convenience Checking account that you have, we can tell you more here. For this account, you'll want to maintain a daily balance of at least $100.00 in order to make sure that the account isn't charged a monthly Maintenance fee at the end of your account's statement cycle. You can review the requirements for this account in better detail right here: http://bit.ly/18IVtY0. Kindly note that the required balance must be met each day and an average balance would not qualify the account for a waiver of the fee.
To discuss this in better detail with you so that you can avoid fees, please get in touch with one of our Specialists. We can double check for you that this is the type of account you have, and tell you more about this. You can reach us 24/7 at 888-751-9000, or you can stop in to any of our Stores listed here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope we answered your question, John but we'd love to chat again if you think of anything else. Just click the 'Reply' button in the top right corner to respond.
Wishing you a wonderful night!
Kristen P, Mount Laurel
