Hi, I selected the wrong TD banking routing number when I setup my direct deposit resulting in funds I desperately need not being deposited on Friday. Since the routing number used was an actual TD bank routing number, however not the correct number, will someone catch the error and deposit the funds into my account or will the transaction be rejected. Thanks

Good morning Robert,
We're glad you were able to get in touch with us about this and we apologize for any trouble you're having.
When sending a direct deposit, typically if some of the information does not match the information that is listed on your account, it will be returned to the originating bank. We do apologize for any inconvenience.
We can offer you another solution, Robert. We suggest that you get in touch with your depositor directly as soon as possible and request that they send us an amendment which includes the correct information. If we receive this quickly, we may be able to make the deposit for you rather than returning it.
If you have any questions regarding this for your account, you can reach us anytime, 24/7 at 888-751-9000, or you can stop in to any of our Stores. Even though it is Columbus Day, we are open for our standard hours today and would be glad to see you.
Thanks again for the message, Robert and we certainly hope this is helpful for you.
Best of luck with this matter and take care!

We have found an additional option for you, Robert.
Since you mentioned that the deposit was sent with a different TD Bank routing number, if it is in fact a TD routing number, we may be able to manually redirect your deposit.
You can call one of our Specialists on the day you're expecting your deposit. If we're able to locate the item and the routing number is the issue, we should be able to have it sent to your account manually after placing a request for you. You can reach a Specialist 24/7 at 888-751-9000.
We hope this is also helpful, Robert and we'll talk to you then!
