I'm going out of state this weekend, the last time I did this my account was locked and I could not use my debit card. Assuming it was locked as a security precaution, but how do I make sure it doesn't do this while I'm away this weekend? The last time it took 24 hours to unlock, I just want to make sure I'll be able to use it during this trip.

Hi Sarah, welcome to TD Helps.
We're sorry you had difficulty using your debit card previously.
To minimize the impact on your debit card, we ask that you provide us with your travel information at least one week prior to travel. You may supply this information by calling our 24/7 Customer Service Team at 1-888-751-9000, submitting a secured message via online banking or visiting any TD Bank Store. For a list of store hours and locations please click here: http://go.td.com/1lvjfOJ.
Please note: we request travel notifications to reduce the likelihood that your debit card will be blocked, but a hold may still be placed for the protection of the account. If that happens please contact us by one of the methods listed above.
We hope you have a great day and a spectacular holiday weekend.
Customer Service Team, Mt. Laurel
