Im new to the area, i had a problem, in losing my previous banks debit card, so i created an account at the local branch, making my first deposit in the new area the same day. I did this because i had to pay bills the next week and was waiting for my new debit card coming from my old bank. I deposited all this on Friday, and its Tuesday and i need to pay the bills but i saw on here it could take 7-10 business days for my first paycheck to clear? is there anything i can do to speed up the process of verification?

Welcome to TD Helps, Dan.
For full information about deposits as a new account holder with us, we invite you to look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ. On pages 38-41 you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits, and especially review page 40, which details the special rules for new accounts.
As this is pertaining to your account specifically, we ask that you call us directly at 888-751-9000 as we are available 24/7 for your convenience. After account verification we will be happy to answer any questions that you may have. Please note that we would like to assist you directly, however we do not have access to your personal information as TD Helps is considered an unsecured forum.
You may also feel free to step into your local TD Bank Store for assistance, if you prefer to speak with a Representative in person. Please check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores for lobby hours and locations near you.
