Thanks for joining us on TD Helps today. We'll be glad to provide you with options on obtaining copies of checks that have been cashed.
To view a recent copy of a check you've written out that has already been cashed, you can log in to your personal online account profile here http://bit.ly/1eaISlq or here http://bit.ly/1rvBmq8 if you have a Business Direct account with us. Once logged in, first select the account you want to view, and then click "All Available History" from the "Show Transactions" list. You'll be able to see copies of any checks written in the past 60 days and can open images of them to print or save for your records.
If you're looking for checks that have cleared prior to the past 60 days and you have elected to receive check images on your paper statements, you may locate the check copies on the last page. If you do not have any statements in your possession currently, you may also view them online!
If you have not enrolled for Online Banking, you can do so for free here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your account number, Social Security number (or Tax Identification number) and email address to complete the enrollment. If you experience any difficulties, please contact us at 1-800-493-7562 to speak with one of our Digital Specialists, 24/7.
Once you've successfully enrolled, to view your statements online, please select the "Statements" tab after logging into your account. If you are unable to locate the specific checks you are looking for, there are other ways you can go about requesting the images you need. Please note, if the check images are not available on the last page of your statement, you may request that service to be added by calling us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or visiting a nearby TD location.
You may send us a secure message, via your Online Banking, regarding your request. To send a secure message, select the "Customer Service" tab and beneath "Message Center" choose "Send a Message." On the new page, there will be a message field and a drop down menu where you can choose a subject. To make a request for check images, you would need to change the subject to "Request a Transaction Copy." You will then be directed to select and fill out details about the check images that you're requesting including the date, amount and check number.
You also have the option of requesting check images via fax. To do so, please send your request to our Fulfillment Department at 856-533-1138. Include your full name, account number, the check number, check amount, your signature and a brief statement about your request.
You may call us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 to request the copies you're looking for. After account verification, we'll be glad to put in the request, and then you will receive the copies in the mail within 7-10 business days.
