I am signing a lease to a new apartment and the Landlord is asking for a W-9 to be filled out. I understand what it is for, to deposit the security deposit I give to her in an account. I am just unsure what box to check off for the tax classification. Example: Individual/sole proprietor, C corp, S Corp. I don't want to make a mistake. Can you help or advise?
