Thank you for coming to TD Helps with your question, Lori! We'll be happy to provide the information that you need to add funds to your Go Card.
You'll be happy to know that the TD Go Card is easy to fund. Funds can be loaded onto your card from any Visa or MasterCard, 24/7, via the TD Go Card web site. You always have the option to call us 24/7 at 855-219-8050 or sign into you GO Card Online Profile at http://bit.ly/1m8bjUS to make a transfer.
As the account owner, you may log in using the username (or card number) and password created when enrolling your teen in the program. Once logged in, you can process an immediate load/transfer by selecting the card you are transferring to, the amount, and submitting the 3 digit code located at the back of your card.
Another option you and/or your teen have is to set up a free direct deposit from your employer(s) to the Go Card. To set up direct deposit, log into your TD Go Card Account and select "Fund teen card" under "Manage Teens." Here you will find "Direct Deposit Instructions." Follow these instructions to set up direct deposit. It is important to remember that each Cardholder will have a different Account Number.
Funds transferred to a TD Go Card using a debit or credit card will generally be available the same business day using one of these methods. Funds loaded to the card using direct deposit will generally be available on the business day we receive the transfer. Please keep in mind that an ATM card cannot be used to fund a TD Go Card. If you have not enrolled yet, you may do so here: http://bit.ly/1jWLKzt . Once there please select the "I'm a Parent" option, you will then need to follow 5 Steps: 1. Create a profile by providing your personal information such as: Contact information, Address, and Social Security Number. 2. Enter payment information, this includes your TD Bank debit card or credit card number, and information for your teen's profile. 3. Review all information. 4. Read and accept the terms and conditions. 5. Profile confirmation. You would then receive the TD Go Card in the mail within 7 to 10 business days to the address you provided.
