I just charged something on my card and don't want it want to cancel it

Welcome to TD Helps, Ronald and thanks for stopping by with your question.
There are several ways that you may cancel a debit card transaction. We'd like to go over the options with you.
If the transaction was made by using your TD Bank Debit Card (the card linked to your Checking account), and it is currently in Pending status, in order to have the funds released, the vendor may fax a letter to us on their letterhead to the attention of Fulfillment at 1-856-533-1138. They need to include the following:
1. Date of authorization
2. Your full debit card number
3. The exact amount debited
4. A brief statement from a representative expressing that they authorize the hold to be released.
If the transaction has already been posted to your account, you may contact the merchant directly to determine if the merchandise can be returned and funds can be refunded. Please note; because of the Merchant Return Policy, it is recommended contacting the merchant first to determine the possibility of refunds.

Additionally, if you are enrolled for online banking, you may send a secure message using www.tdbank.com. To send a secure message you must first logon to your TD Bank online profile. You can do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq . On the left hand side, you should see and option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center”. If you are enrolled for our BusinessDirect online banking, you may use this link to logon http://bit.ly/1rvBmq8.
If you are not currently enrolled for Online Banking and wish to enroll for Online Banking for your personal accounts, you may use our self-service option by visiting http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to begin the enrollment process. In order to do so, you will need your account number, TD Bank ATM/Debit Card, your Social Security Number and your email address. Once at the page, please select "Personal" from the drop down box. When you select continue, you will have to read and accept the Online Banking Service Agreement. Then you will be asked to enter your personal information including the items mentioned earlier and to create a user name and password. Finally you will be asked to create three security questions. When you finish the enrollment process, you will have immediate access to your account(s).

Just in case if you are looking to enroll for TD Bank BusinessDirect and you have your debit card, follow this link: http://bit.ly/1dl2HX6. Once you’re at the “Sign Up for TD Bank BusinessDirect” page, please complete the application. You will need your Business Taxpayer Identification Number, account number, ATM/Debit card number, the business name, and your e-mail address. When you are finished with the application, you will receive an e-mail confirmation within 2 business days that contains your User ID and password. In case you don't have a debit card or would like to have immediate access to online banking, you could visit your local TD Bank Store for help.
