We are an Accounting Firm in the US and we have a partnership with a foreign client, we would like to know how we can open a checking account with this overseas client remotely?

At this time, we do not offer a remote option for account opening. In order to open a business account with TD Bank, all authorized signers will need to be present at a TD Bank Store with photo ID. If any of the signers are not U.S. Citizens, two forms of ID may be required, one of which must be their valid foreign passport. Depending on the business type and in which state the account is opened, necessary documents may vary. For this reason, we recommend reaching out to the TD Bank Store you intend to visit prior to your trip to the U.S. Our Store Representatives can go over all the documents you will need and what you already have to ensure that you have everything necessary to open your new account.
