Thank you for writing to us on TD Helps, Jennifer and congratulations on your upcoming nuptials!
You'll be happy to know that you may open a Savings Account with TD prior to getting married. The account would be opened in your name and your spouse's and will not include any future name changes. If you'd like to look over the Savings Account options prior to visiting a TD Store, please visit http://bit.ly/SavingsCmpre for more information or take a look here: http://bit.ly/1hXi2wF for a custom Savings recommendation.
You can change your name after you're married by visiting your local TD Bank. The Customer Service Representative would need to see a copy of your marriage certificate in order to make the change. You can do so at any TD location and to find the nearest one check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope the information helps and have a great weekend.
