We have a tenant who wants to pay her rent from her personal checking account to our checking account. How do we do this?

Hi Kathi. Thanks for reaching out to us!
We think it's great that you're looking for ways to help your tenant set up her rental payments. We can provide a couple of options.
Here at TD Bank, we offer our Customers an online Bill Pay service. As long as she has a checking account with us, she can set up recurring payments for her rent. We will issue a payment to you each month, most likely in the form of a check. It will be cut and mailed so that it is delivered by the date that our Customer specifies. If she is interested in enrolling in this service, she can do it right through her online banking. We're always here to help if she has any trouble setting up the payment. She may call us 24/7 at 800-493-7562 and a Tech Support Specialist would be glad to help.
Another option you may want to consider is through your merchant services. If you have merchant services to process credit card payments, they may be able to assist in setting you up with a service that allows your tenants to pay their rent online or set up auto payments. We recommend reaching out to them to discuss your options.
If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or stop in to see us at any of our Stores. To find one near you, please click here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc.
We hope you have a great weekend and Happy Holidays, Kathi!
