We have moved to Ohio. I need to close my TD Bank accounts. how do I do that.

We do want to let you know that we are committed to being available when you need us. If you have relocated to an area where TD Bank does not have locations at this time, we do have some options for you to do all of your banking without visiting a Store.

TD Bank Mobile Deposit is available for most iPhone and Android devices and to Customers of at least 90 days or longer with an active Checking, Savings or Money Market account. If you still wish to close your account and it is at zero balance, you may contact our 24/7 Customer Service Department at 888-751-9000 and have the account closed via telephone. If the balance is zero, you can also send a Secure Message after logging in to your TD Bank online account here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. Please find the Customer Service tab and use the Send a Message link to submit your request.
If you still have a balance on your account or you have a Business account, an easy way to close the account is via mailed written request. You may request to close your account and have any available money in your account be sent to you by check. You can mail a request with the following instructions:

▪Your request to close the account(s)
▪Your current address
For your security, please have the letter notarized. It can then be mailed to:

Your Home Store telephone Number
