My Husband and I have a joint bank account (which we showed our marriage license to open). I would like to change my last name to his on all of my accounts.

Hi Tara, thank you for submitting your question today on TD Helps. Congratulations on your recent marriage and we are happy to point you in the right direction.
Although name changes cannot be initiated online, you may visit any TD Bank location during lobby hours at your earliest convenience. In order to change your name on your account(s), valid identification that documents this change would be required. Please make sure to have one of the following legal proof of change documents with you prior visiting your local TD Bank Store: Driver's License, Marriage License, Divorce Decree, Court Order or United States Passport.
You can expect your name change to take effect for your account within seven to ten business days. You should be able to obtain a new debit card with your current legal name printed on the card during your visit as well. As you mentioned you no longer live near a TD Bank, we recommend calling your home Store for further options. Please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores for Store phone numbers, lobby hours, and locations near you.
Thanks again for stopping by, Tara. We hope this information is helpful.
