Hello Mary and thank you for contacting us at TD Helps today!
We can understand the anticipation you may be having waiting for your deposit to become available in your account. We'd like for you to review the address below as it is the address needed to help make deposits received in a timely fashion.
Bank by Mail address:
TD Bank, N.A.
P.O. Box Number
1190 Lewiston, Maine 04243
Since the deposit was sent to a different address, delays may occur. Our P.O. Box in Lewiston is checked daily and transactions are posted the same day we receive the deposit; however, we recommend visiting http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ to learn more about our funds availability policy starting on page 35. Also keep in mind that TD Bank is not responsible for items lost in mail. Here are some additional tips to consider prior to mailing your deposit:
- Cash should not be sent through the mail
- Payee of the check and name on deposit ticket should be the same
- Checks should be endorsed (and restricted "for deposit only")
- Multiple checks should be listed and a total of the deposit listed
- Enclose the deposit ticket, not the carbon copy
- If using a blank deposit ticket, please write the account number clearly
- Do not staple transactions
We recommend monitoring your account so you're aware when the funds have become available to you. There are a few options in which we offer for you to check your account balance. Your first option is to enroll for Online Banking by using the Self-Service feature. To start the enrollment process, you will need your TD ATM/Visa Debit Card, your account number and email address and click here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY , which will take you to the "Online Banking Sign Up" page. Please select Personal from the drop down box and select "Submit". First, you'll have to accept the Online Banking Agreement. Then, we'll ask you to enter in your personal information and finally, you will have to set up three security questions. After those 3 steps are completed, you will have immediate access to your account(s) online. If you do not have an ATM/Visa Debit card or have any trouble trying to enroll, please reach out to one of our dedicated Digital Banking Specialists directly at 800-493-7562. They are available 24/7 and are willing to assist you with making the account visible immediately after account authentication. You may also wish to visit us, during lobby hours, at any TD Store location for further assistance. For a list of hours and locations, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
You may also check your balance and so much more by having access to our TD Bank Mobile App after you have enrolled with TD Bank Online Banking. Feel free to visit http://bit.ly/1hOPk1H for more information and to send yourself the quick link to download the TD Bank Mobile App.
Another option to check your balance is to contact our automated system, also known as the Interactive Voice Response (IVR), by dialing 1-800-YES-2000 (1-800-937-2000). You will need your account number or debit card number to do so. Once you verify your account thru the IVR system, you will be able to retrieve account information or you could call at us 1-888-751-9000 to speak with a live Banking Specialist who is available 24/7 for your convenience!
If you have a TD ATM/Visa Debit Card, you could stop by any ATM to check your balance. Please note, if you visit a non-TD Bank ATM, there may be fees applied, for more information, take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
We hope this information was helpful, Mary. Have a wonderful day!
