Welcome to TD Helps, Annl. We are excited that you have come here with your question!
TD Bank is always happy to receive feedback and suggestions such as yours in order to provide a comfortable and convenient banking experience for all of our Customers. Please keep checking this link http://bit.ly/TDStores to see what new TD Bank locations are becoming available in your area. Stay Tuned!
If you are interested in opening an account with us, we offer many different types of Checking and Savings accounts. We'd like to invite you to visit http://bit.ly/1ishIab to begin an account with TD Bank in the United States. Please click on the Open a U.S. Account button on the right side. On the page which follows, additional information about the products we offer is available. Use the Open Account buttons to select your account and begin the application process.
You may also speak with a Representative from our TD Cross Border Banking Support Line 24/7 by calling 1-877-700-2913, who can also assist you in opening the account by phone.
When you are ready to open your new account, you will need to provide your name, street address, date of birth, Social Insurance number and valid identification to complete the account opening process. Please keep in mind that your Canadian consumer credit profile will also be used to verify your identity.
Once your new account is set up, you may want to take advantage of our Cross Border Banking service as you mentioned that you also have an account with TD Canada Trust. You can transfer funds between your TD Bank US and TD Canada Trust accounts, free of charge. If you wish to, please feel free to speak with a Representative from our TD Cross Border Banking Support Line 24/7 at the number listed above. With this feature, you are able to do your banking without having to visit a TD Store! For more information, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1ienPN4.
We'd like to share with you that we do have some deposit account products which will either waive non-TD ATM fees, or may also receive unlimited ATM surcharge refunds. We'd recommend reviewing and comparing our Checking and Savings account for your needs. For more information on our fee schedule, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
We'd also like to take this opportunity to offer some suggestions to avoid non-TD ATM fees once your new account is set up:
Using your TD Bank Visa Debit Card instead of cash is safer, linked to rewards, and most merchants will accept it even for smaller purchases. TD Bank Debit cardholders can take advantage of hundreds of special discounts when shopping online or in stores with their Debit Card - from travel and restaurants to their favorite stores! Discounts are easy to redeem: no enrollment is needed and there are no points to keep track of, and no hassle! You`re welcome to visit our newly designed website at http://bit.ly/1rNJqlL to see what savings are available. Please be sure to check back often as these discounts change three times a year!
If you're in need of cash, you may also want to take advantage of getting cash back when using your debit card at the point of sale; many major retailers and grocery chains will give cash back at the register without a fee.
Let us know if you have any further questions. We are always here to help. Have a pleasant day!
