Thank you for your interest in banking with TD, Victoria. We'd be happy to help.
First, we recommend taking a look at the variety of personal accounts we offer here at TD. To take a look at our checking accounts, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd. You are also able to receive a custom recommendation by using our Checking Selector Tool found here: http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU. If you are interested in savings accounts as well, feel free to take a look at the products we offer here: http://bit.ly/1hzzhPT. For a similar custom recommendation, take a look at our Savings Selector Tool here: http://bit.ly/1sxY9Rd.
As you've mentioned an interest in credit cards with TD as well, please take a look here http://bit.ly/1qRnByN for a listing of all our personal credit card offers.
Next, we recommend taking a look at our business account types. To take a look at business checking products visit here: http://bit.ly/1lWgAhe. Similarly, we offer a Business Checking Selector and it can be found here: http://bit.ly/1lGeYmw. Feel free to take a look at business savings accounts (http://bit.ly/1qKznyE) and our business money market accounts (http://bit.ly/1hvUVaO) as well!
Our business credit card offerings can be found here: http://bit.ly/1jKydk6.
Once you've decided on the accounts and credit cards that are best for your personal and business use, we do ask that you visit a TD Store during lobby hours to open your accounts and apply. To take a look at TD Stores that you would like to visit and their hours, please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Upon your visit, be sure to bring the following documents: a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and Social Security Number.
In regards to opening a business account, please know that if you plan on having multiple signers for your account, all potential signers will need to be present for account opening and bring the documentation listed above. If any of your signers are non-residents they will need two valid forms of I.D. and a W-8Ben must be completed during the account opening process.
As you've mentioned that your business is an LLC, there are some additional documents you will need to bring with you. One of the listed documents is required for account opening but you can bring more than one if you desire: The documents used to form and register your business, the fictitious name registration or the Operating Agreement. Additionally, you will also need to bring documentation of your LLC Resolution.
We recommend speaking with the TD Store you plan on visiting prior to your trip to determine if any additional documents outside of the ones we've mentioned are required.
Though there are no fees for account opening, we do recommend reviewing the account types we offer as some of them require a minimum daily balance in order to waive a maintenance fee.
After your accounts are opened, you have the option of being issued a debit card during your visit. We apologize for any inconvenience however at this time you are unable to select the design of your debit card.
You will also have the ability to access your account online for both your personal and business accounts! Our free Online Banking is used for our personal accounts and offers account transfers, Bill Pay, statement access and more! To learn more about Online Banking for our personal accounts, please take a look here http://bit.ly/1lnLZE5 for additional details.
Our business accounts have their own online platform called BusinessDirect. You'll be able to enjoy similar features to our personal Online Banking as well as ACH transfers, wire access and compatibility with Quicken and Quickbooks! For more details please visit http://bit.ly/1bEQmZW.
You've also mentioned a concern about certain fees. There are accounts at TD that offer the waiver of fees such as ATM and wire transfer fees. We recommend taking a look at our Fee Schedule found here http://bit.ly/1cTejgt and taking a look at the features/benefits of the accounts you're interested in to learn if these fees may be waived.
Keep in mind that even though you're going to be across the country, we do have customer service options available to you. You are able to call us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000. Our Representatives are always available to assist with any banking concerns. Through online access, you will have the ability to connect with us via secure message after establishing your accounts. You will even have the ability to bank on the go for both your personal and business accounts through our Mobile Banking applications. Hi Megan, thanks for the quick response! Just to clarify, we need to go to a TD store to open the accounts? So no option to do it online?

Aloha, Victoria and thank you for getting back to us.
To open a personal account on-line, you will need to have a physical address within TD footprint, which is from Maine to Florida, a valid I.D. such as Driver's License, Passport and Social Security number. As you're writing in from Honolulu, you may also feel free to call us directly 24/7 at (888) 751-9000 to set up your new personal accounts via telephone if your address is not within our footprint.
We apologize as you will need to visit a TD Bank Store location in person to set up a new Small Business account.
Please do not hesitate to get back to us if you have any additional questions, Victoria. Have a wonderful day!
