Thanks for writing in, Barbara. We'll be glad to assist with more information on setting up a monthly withdraw.
When authorizing a company to withdraw funds from your account on a monthly basis, there are a few possible ways this can be done: using your debit card number, using your account and routing number or by using Bill Pay through www.tdbank.com.
If this payment is being set up via the merchant and they are using your debit card number, that is all you will need to provide to them to ensure the payment is set up properly.
If the merchant is using your account and routing number, the only additional information that should be required is the type of account you are making the payment from (Checking or Savings).
Additionally, if you are making the payment via our webpage, using the Bill Pay feature, when creating the Biller, it will ask to input an address. The address Bill Pay is looking for is the mailing address for the merchant. If you're unsure of which address to use, we suggest reaching out to the merchant for confirmation.
We hope this has been useful, Barbara. Have a great day and take care!
