I went to a TD Bank store with my mother (a TD account holder) who withdrew money from her account and got a cashier's check and that check was then directly deposited to my checking account. She's been a long time account holder and my account has been open for well over the 90 days that I read about under the Special Rules for New Accounts in Personal Deposit Account Agreement pamplet. It's over $5000 but since all transactions were done in the store, wouldn't that just transfer over without a hitch? (P.S. This happened on a Saturday and it is now Tuesday) How long will I have to wait?

Thanks for writing into TD Helps this evening, Chris! We'll be sure go over some information regarding our funds availability with you.
Based on your question, it sounds like you've deposited a check that was over $5000.00 on a Saturday and you'd like to know when it will become available. We'd like to state that any check deposits that are made over the weekend or on a non-business day, typically are made available on the next business day; which would be Tuesday. However, there are some cases such as large check deposits that can cause a delay in funds availability.
We encourage you to give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000, visit us at any TD Bank during lobby hours or send us a secure message through online banking to check on the status of your deposit. Once our Banking Specialists verify your account information, they'll be able to provide a timeframe as to when this check will become fully available.
