We would be more than happy to answer your question here on TD Helps, Bill.
We'd be happy to provide information on the two types of accounts you've mentioned. To view the benefits and features of the Premier Checking account, we recommend you visit http://bit.ly/1m9qQOk and for the Relationship Checking account visit http://bit.ly/1sBXy0Z.
Additionally, we also offer other types of Checking accounts that may work for you. Please visit http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd for more details.
Once you are ready to open your account, we're glad to inform you there are multiple ways to do. There are several ways to open an account with us: online, over the phone, or in person.
To open a Checking account, you may apply Online by visiting: www.tdbank.com or click here: http://bit.ly/1fN7u4i to take you directly to the account opening application. To make a first deposit online, you may use a debit card linked to an account from another financial institution, a credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or you can stop by your local TD Store to make a deposit.
To open the account over the phone, you may call us directly 24/7 at 888-751-9000 and you will have up to 30 business days to make your initial deposit. Finally, you have the option of visiting us at your local TD Store to open an account. If you choose this option, you will need to make an initial deposit to the account you selected.
There would not be a minimum requirement to open the account; however, some accounts have requirements in order to have certain fees waived. We would encourage you to review the link above prior to visiting a Store. For hours and locations near you, take a look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Hope this helps answer your question!
