Thanks for joining us, Victor! Great question, we'll be glad to help.
When sending an international wire to TD Bank, you're able to send the funds either in US Dollars or Foreign Currency.
If funds are sent via Wire Transfer to TD Bank in foreign currency, when the funds arrive please note that a standard fee would be assessed to the wired funds for receiving the wire; however, no additional fee is assessed to convert the currency to another type. Please keep in mind that foreign currency will be converted to US Dollars using a range of possible exchange rates set by the bank.
If you'll be sending funds in US Dollars, we would recommend that you speak with the bank at which the wire will be originated, to determine what fees may be assessed if they convert the currency for you before the transfer.
When sending funds, please also note that the originating bank may use the services of correspondent and/or intermediary banks during the wire transfer process. We also recommend that you be aware of any fees which could be assessed by the bank at which the wire originated. You're able to inquire of this and any related fees for these services at the bank at which you're sending the wire.
We invite you to view our current Fee Schedule at http://bit.ly/1cTejgt for information about any fees which may be assessed by TD Bank for a wire transfer to your account here. Additionally, if you'd like to view the wire instructions you'll need for a US Dollar wire, please see: http://bit.ly/1d6xZtF for help. And for information on a Foreign Currency wire, check here: http://bit.ly/OL3R2y.
If you have any questions, we'll be glad to assist you! You're welcome to speak with a friendly Customer Service Representative 24/7 at 1-888-751-9000, or you can visit any local TD Bank Store. Please see a listing of our Store locations here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this clears up your question, Victor! Please let us know of other questions. Have a great one.
