I have a small business account at another bank and there is a fee if the balance falls below $1,000 - what are the fees/minimum balance at TD Bank?

First, we have a variety of business accounts for different Customer needs and we'd like to take a moment to let you know more about the account options available. Once you have found an account you like, you can click on the "View Account Guide" link which is listed below each account title. Once this page opens, it will review in detail any minimum balance required for the account and any fees, if applicable.

If you found an account you like, you may open your business account at any TD Bank location. For information on our Store hours and locations please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores. If it's easier, you also have the option to contact us at the number just mentioned schedule an appointment at the TD Bank Store of your choice.
When visiting a Store, you'll need the following documents to open the account: a valid photo ID (Driver's License, Passport, Military ID, etc.) and your Social Security number. if your business account is going to have multiple signers, be sure to bring them with you for the account opening process with the same forms of ID. If any of the signers are non-residents of the US, they would need two valid forms of ID and a W-8BEN form. You will also need to bring the Tax Identification Number for the business, legal name, and physical address.
Also, please note that depending on the type of business you have, there may be additional documents you will need to bring with you. We'd recommend that you discuss this prior to stopping in at a Store, either by speaking with one of our Business Specialists as mentioned above or by contacting your preferred location.
