Thank you for your interest in an account with TD Bank, Pamela. We'll be glad to provide you with more information.
Typically, there is no cost or set amount that you need to open a personal or joint account with us. However, some accounts do require a daily minimum balance to avoid a monthly maintenance fee. We invite you to visit http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd to view and compare our personal Checking accounts, or check out our Checking Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU for help with selecting a Checking account that is the best fit for you. If you are interested in Savings accounts, we invite you to view our available Savings Account options here: http://bit.ly/1hzzhPT. Or if you'd like, we have a Savings Account Selector tool, which can assist you in finding the best type of Savings account for your needs at http://bit.ly/1sxY9Rd.
To open a joint account we ask that both parties visit any TD Bank location with photo ID during lobby hours once you decide on the account type that best suits your needs. For a listing of our Stores and hours please view: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this helps and please let us know if you have any other questions.
