I noticed that the payment has been posted 2 times to my checking account. I called the auto loan company and they said I made the payment 2 times online. When I made the payment the first one timed out and I didnt know the payment went through. I checked pending payments and there was nothing listed. I then made another payment. Is there any way to reverse the payment or am I stuck with the 2 payments being withdrawn? If I had know of the 2 payments I would have put a stop payment on 1 of them.

Hello Dan, we appreciate your question on TD Helps! We apologize for any confusion and are glad to assist with your payments.
In general, we would first recommend that you contact your Auto Loan Company to request a credit for one of the payments.
If they're not able to assist you, and because a variety of payment methods could have been used, we'd advise you to give a call to one of our friendly Banking Specialists at 888-751-9000, who are available 24/7 for your convenience. We'd be happy to review the payment with you to let you know about the options available. Please note, that we would like to assist you directly, however we do not have access to your personal information since this is considered an unsecured forum.
If you prefer, you're also invited to stop in at any TD Bank Store nearby you, and for a listing of our closest Stores, please see: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this helps you, Dan and let us know what else we can do to assist you. Take care and have a wonderful evening!
