My debit card was charged twice for takeout food on Monday evening. Do I go back to the restaurant to get the transaction reversed or is this something TD would handle?

We're sorry to hear this happened, Colleen. We'd be glad to assist.
First, we recommend reaching out to the merchant directly. Often times they are able to credit your debit/credit card. In most cases, funds return to your account within 3-5 business days.
If the merchant is unable or unwilling to assist, you are able to reach out to us directly to submit a dispute for the duplicate transaction. To file a dispute, we ask that you contact us either by phone 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or by visiting any TD Store. To take a look at Store locations and their hours please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
We hope this helps, Colleen. Have a good day.
