Thank you for your interest in Banking with TD, Tiffany!
We offer many different types of Checking accounts. Please note; currently, there is no set amount that you need to open an account with us. However, some accounts do require a daily minimum balance to avoid a monthly maintenance fee. To view and compare our Checking accounts, visit http://bit.ly/1oXjGgF or check out our Checking Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU for help selecting a Checking account that is the best fit for you. You may also take a look at http://bit.ly/1hzzhPT for more detailed information on each particular Savings Account available at TD. For a customized recommendation, take a look at our Savings Selector tool found here: http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM.
Once you have decided on the types of accounts you wish to open, you may apply online by selecting the "Open Account" box. You're also able to call us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000 and our Representatives will be happy to help you open an account while speaking with them.
Additionally, you are welcome to stop by your nearest TD Bank Store to speak with a Banking Specialist in regards to setting up the new account or determining what product type fits you the best. To find TD Store locations near you, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores. You will need to bring a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and Social Security number.
If you are a Non-US resident and do not have SSN at this present time, you will need to bring two forms of identification with you and stop by your local TD Bank store during our lobby hours to set up your new account. One form of ID must be a Non-US passport and the second form of ID you may select from the list below:
- Employment ID with Photo and Signature
- State Issued ID or Driver's License with Signature
- Foreign Driver's License with Photo
- US Employment Authorization card with Photo, Signature and Expiration Date
- College ID with Photo
- Alien Registration Card with Photo
- Permanent Resident Card with Photo
We hope this information helps, Tiffany and talk to you soon!
