Hey Brianna, thanks for stopping by!
There are two instances in which you may be able to cash a check at a TD Bank Store. You must either have an active deposit account, such as a checking, savings, or money market, or the check must be drawn from a TD Bank account. Based on your question, it doesn't seem as though you have an active account with us, and that's okay! If the check is drawn on a TD Bank account, you may cash this check at any Store location. To view our Store locations and hours, please click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Please note that there may be a $7.00 check cashing fee if you are not a TD Bank Customer, and that this fee is subject to change at any time. However, if you wish to open an account with us, this fee would be waived!
We do offer many different types of checking and savings accounts. To view and compare our checking accounts, please click here: http://bit.ly/1oXjGgF, or check out our Product Selector Tool: https://go.td.com/2sx4N2E. To view and compare savings account products, please click: http://bit.ly/1g5vhXQ.
If you choose to open an account with us, you may click on the 'Open Account' button, which will take you directly to the account opening application. You may also feel free to call us directly 24/7 at 888-751-9000 with any questions you have and set up your new account via telephone, or simply open an account when you stop in to cash your check.
In regard to your form of identification, a driver's license, or your passport would also be accepted if you do not have a state ID. We encourage you to contact the Store you plan on visiting to confirm that the form of ID you have is acceptable.
We hope this information has helped, Brianna. Thanks again for stopping by!
