Welcome to TD Helps, Percy. It is lovely to hear you are considering joining the TD family!
Here at TD Bank, we offer many different types of Checking accounts. Prior to opening an account we encourage you to view and compare our Checking accounts, visit http://bit.ly/1qKGu4T or check out our Checking Selector Toolhttp://bit.ly/1vW1xnU for help selecting a Checking account that is the best fit you. To view and compare Savings account products, click on http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9, or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM which can help you choose the best Savings account for your needs.
We also offer many types of Savings Accounts that can fit your needs. We recommend taking a look at http://bit.ly/1hzzhPT for more detailed information on each particular Savings Account available at TD Bank. You may find it helpful to check out our customized Savings Selector tool, found here: http://bit.ly/1sxY9Rd.
There are several ways to open an account with us: online, over the phone, or in person. The documents that you will need to open the account are the following: Your Social Security number and ID (driver's license, State ID, or Passport).
To open a personal account, you may apply Online by visiting www.tdbank.com or click here: http://bit.ly/1fN7u4i to take you directly to the account opening application. To make a first deposit online, you may use a debit card linked to an account from another Financial Institution, a credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or you can stop by your local TD Store to make a deposit. To open the account over the phone, you may call us directly 24/7 at 888-751-9000 and you will have up to 30 business days to make your initial deposit. Finally, you have the option of visiting us at your local TD Store to open an account. If you choose this option, you will need to make an initial deposit to the account you selected. There would not be a minimum requirement to open the account; however, some accounts have requirements in order to have certain fees waived. We would encourage you to review the link above prior to visiting a Store. For hours and locations near you, take a look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Thanks again for stopping by, Percy. Have an amazing day!
