Welcome to TD Helps, Juan! We're so glad for your interest in an account with us, and hope you're doing well.
If you'd like to open a DBA account, you're welcome to establish a Business account with TD Bank. We have products with all the features you need to help you achieve your financial goals.
You may want to review the types of business accounts we offer. If you take a look here, http://bit.ly/1lWgAhe, the link shows the types of business checking accounts that we offer. Our web page can even make a selection based on your needs with the Business Checking Selector tool: http://bit.ly/1lGeYmw. If you have any questions while reviewing these options, a Business Banking Specialist would be happy to assist you over the telephone. You can reach them by dialing 855-278-8988.
If you wish to open a business account, the account signer(s) must visit a TD Bank Store and be present for the account opening process along with the following documents: a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and Social Security number. For a non-resident aliens opening a business account, you will need two valid forms of ID and a W-8Ben must be completed during the account opening process. Also, be sure to bring the Tax Identification Number for your business if applicable. To find out TD Store locations near you, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you'll be opening a Sole Proprietor Doing Business as (DBA) account using your Social Security number, for example, there are some additional documents you will need to bring with you. You may bring a Business License or Bill, Invoice or other correspondence in the business name, and the Fictitious Name Registration if this is issued by the City, Town or State where the business is located.
Please note that depending on the specific type of account you're opening, different requirements may apply. We'd recommend contacting the TD Bank Store you intend to use prior to your visit to ensure that you have everything needed.
Thanks again for visiting, Juan and don't hesitate to return to TD Helps with your future questions. Enjoy your weekend!
