Thank you for joining us on TD Helps, Brittany, and for your interest in TD. We'd be happy to review how to open a joint account.
To start, we'd like to share with you the many different types of accounts TD Bank has to offer. We invite you to take a look at the current Checking accounts that we have. Click here: http://bit.ly/Wczmq0 for a list of checking accounts and for a personalized recommendation click here: http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9 to use or Checking Selector. You may also check out http://bit.ly/SavingsCmpre for Savings account details and comparisons, and our Savings Account Selector Tool at http://bit.ly/1hXi2wF for a personalized account recommendation.
Once you have decided on the best account that fits your banking needs, to open a joint account, we ask that you visit a TD Store during lobby hours for further assistance. Please be sure that all applicable signers are present for the account opening process and please bring your photo IDs, such as a Driver's License, State ID and/or a US passport with you to any TD Bank. To find a TD Bank near you, visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If your joint signers are unable to visit a Store to open the joint account, you have the option of opening an individual account for now then adding them by visiting a TD Store once they are available. To open an individual account, you may open the account Online by selecting the "Open Account" box located beneath each individual account, you may call us at 1-888-751-9000 to speak with a Banking Specialists, available 24/7, or you can visit us and any TD Store.
We hope the helps, Brittany, and have a great night!
