I am a non-resident from Brazil and partner at a company incorporated and operational in Brazil. We want to open a US bank account as we receive revenues in USD. What documents do I need to provide? What kind of fees and minimum deposits do you work with?
Thanks a lot. Cesar.

Nice of you to stop by TD Helps, Cesar! We're glad that you are considering opening an account with us and we'd be happy to provide some information on how to open an account with us.
Please note that if you like to open a business account with TD Bank, the business must be registered within our Maine to Florida footprint. If you choose to register your business in the US, please review the information below.
We'd like to share with you the types of business accounts TD Bank has to offer. Please check out: http://bit.ly/1lWgAhe for information about the Small Business accounts we offer. Also, we have a convenient Business Checking Selector Tool which will help with a customized recommendation, please check it out here: http://bit.ly/1lGeYmw . Our Business Banking Specialists are available to assist you with any questions 24/7 at 855-278-8988 or you may complete http://bit.ly/SWDqsn to receive a phone call from a Small Business Specialist.
To open a business account, you must visit us at any local TD Store, for information on our TD Store hours and locations please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores, and there are a few things you'd need to bring with. If your business account is going to have multiple signers, be sure to bring them with you for the account opening process. Those who are going to be signers on the account need to bring the following documents: a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and Social Security number. For a non-resident alien opening a business account, you will need two valid forms of ID and a W-8Ben must be completed during the account opening process. Also, be sure to bring the Tax Identification Number for your business.
Once you've decided on the account that you'd like to open, feel free to drop by any TD Bank during lobby hours. Click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank near you. As a non-US Resident, you will need to bring two forms of identification with you. One form of ID must be a valid non-US Passport or Visa with photo and the second form of valid ID you may select from the list below:
- Employment ID with Photo and Signature
- State Issued ID or Driver's License with Signature
- Foreign Driver's License with Photo
- US Employment Authorization card with Photo, Signature and Expiration Date
- Alien Registration Card with Photo
- Permanent Resident Card with Photo
We encourage you to contact the TD Bank that you are going to visit prior to visiting to inquire about any additional documents that you may need to open the account.
Should you need to contact us from abroad, feel free to do so 24/7 at 856-751-9000 or via Collect with operator's assistance at 00+1-215-569-0518.
We hope this information is useful and enjoy the rest of your day, Cesar!
