Welcome to TD Helps, Hannah. We’d like to thank you for your interest in opening an account with us!
The documents that you will need to open your account are: your social security number, and valid photo identification. This may be your driver's license, state ID, or passport.
We currently offer many different types of checking and savings accounts. To view and compare our checking accounts, please click here: http://bit.ly/1oXjGgF. To view and compare savings account products, click here: http://bit.ly/1g5vhXQ. We also have a product selector tool: https://go.td.com/2sx4N2E which may help you decide which account best fits your banking needs!
Once you have decided on the best account for your banking needs, there are a few ways in which you may open the account. First, you may open the account online by click on 'Open account' under the account type. You will simply need to enter your social security number once you start the application, along with additional personal information.
You may also open your new account at your local TD Bank Store, once you have received your social security card. To view our Store locations and hours, please click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores. It is highly recommended to contact the TD Store you will be visiting to open the account in advance to confirm if any other information will be needed.
Lastly, you may open the new account over the phone with a Representative by dialing 888-751-9000, available to assist 24/7.
If you have any additional questions, please feel free to give us a call 24/7 at the number provided above.
We hope to speak with you again soon, Hannah, take care!
