Just got a check a few days ago and most of it cleared and now i have this message in my statement what does this mean?

Generally speaking, this description means the check you previously deposited is being returned.
As this is pertaining to your specific account, we would need to review this further with you. I deposited a check for about $1,500 on Friday and went to review its status today. I was previously told the check would be cleared today, but instead I was told I have a V5 INC RET PS in my checking transactions which withdrew the check out of my account, leaving me with no balance. When would I be able to receive my check?

Typically checks that have been returned may take up to 7-10 business days to be mailed to your address on file.

WHAT DOES THIS CODE MEAN? V5 INC RET PS?

Typically when you see 'V5 INC RET PS' on your account there is a deposit being returned. A Returned Deposit Item (RDI) is any item that was deposited or cashed out into your account at TD Bank, but has been returned by the paying bank. Most RDIs are checks returned because of Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF). Other reasons deposited checks are returned include stop payment, signature missing, endorsement missing, etc. A fee of $15 is assessed for Returned Deposited Items.
We usually mail the returned check back to you within in 7-10 business days. At that time you may wish to redeposit the check, or contact the maker of the check.
