How it compares with the exchange rate posted by Bank of Canada?
At the website of the Royal Bank of Canada, for example, it is displayed only just before a transaction is executed. But at least, it is known in advance and could be canceled is necessary. How exchange rate could checked in advance at TD Bank?

We appreciate you bringing your concerns to TD Helps today, Kirill. We'll be more than happy to help.
If you plan on performing a Cross Border Banking transfer from your TD Bank account in the United States to your TD Canada Trust account in Canada, we're happy to announce that the exchange rates are provided to you before this wire transfer is completed, allowing you time to cancel in the event that you would need or want to.
When wanting to perform a TD Cross Border Banking transfer, you may reach a Specialist at 877-700-2913, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. To transfer funds from the United States to Canada, please select option 2, as this will take you directly to a Specialist in the United States. Once you have informed the Specialist of your desired transfer amount, they'll be happy to provide you with the current exchange rate, as well as the amount that you will receive in your TD Canada Trust account once the transfer has been completed.
Please understand that exchange rates are always changing, however; if you'd like to receive the latest rates, you're welcome to call TD International Services at 888-BNG-INTL (888-264-4685), or you can send them an email by visiting https://go.td.com/1pvwJIu.
If you have any questions at all, in addition to the number provided above, you're also welcome to visit a TD Store location, during lobby hours, for assistance. To take a look at Store locations and their hours, please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
We hope this clears up any confusion, Kirill. Have a great weekend!
