I recently made a purchase of XXXX on my TD credit card. My credit card bill is due and I plan to make the XXXX payment. However, I will be returning the item so the money will also be credited to the account. What will happen to the money that is eventually credited to my account? Will TD send me a check for the money? Will it be a "credit" on my credit card?

Good morning, Jennifer. This is a great question, and we'll be more than happy to help. When situations such as yours arise, and a merchant returns a payment to your TD Bank Credit Card that brings your balance higher than your credit limit, the funds can either by mailed to you in the form of a check, or if you have a deposit account with TD Bank, you may also request to have these funds credited directly to your account! To have this completed, you may simply connect with a Specialist from our Credit Card Department once the credit you are expecting has posted to your card. For your convenience, they are available to help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and can be reached by calling 888-561-8861. It's important to note that in the event you do not call to speak with one of our Specialists in regard to your merchant credit, the funds will be mailed to your address after 3 months. If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to connect with us at the number above, or you're also welcome to visit your nearest TD Store location to speak with a Customer Service Representative, during lobby hours. To take a look at Store locations and their hours, please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR. Thanks for stopping by, Jennifer! Have an amazing weekend.
