If a mobile deposit of a check does not go through for some reason, will I be informed?

That's a great question, Cody and we'll be glad to provide you with more information.
When making a Mobile Deposit, if for any reason it isn't accepted, you will receive an error message during the depositing process. If the mobile app accepts the deposit and the check is returned after the verification process is complete, you will receive a letter in the mail with the reason why it was returned.
To avoid any issues when depositing the check please make sure to follow these tips:
- Take the photo in a well-lit area
- Place the check on a flat, dark surface
- Smooth out folds and wrinkles
- Keep in photo within the guidelines provided on the screen
- Confirm the check includes a date, payee, amount and signature
