In reply to Connor, Holmdel
Good afternoon to you and thanks so much for writing in today.
When you use your TD Bank Visa Debit card in a store for a purchase, you're able to use either the debit or the credit option, whichever you prefer. Your PIN will be required for your debit purchases, whereas credit purchases may require your signature. Please keep in mind that both of these debit funds directly from your checking account at the time of the purchase – the "credit" side of your card would not work in the same way as a standard credit card. For a little more info, you can take a look here: http://bit.ly/1tGOcVM.
If you have follow-up questions about this, please reply to us here – we'll be more than happy to help. We're also available 24/7 at 888-751-9000 for any account needs you might have.
Thanks again for getting in touch, Connor.
Hoping this helps clear it up for you! Have a great one.
