Hi Christine, thanks for connecting with us through TD Helps. It's great to hear you're interested in opening an account and we would be happy to help!
If you're looking for a way to pay your bills or make online purchases, you can review and compare our different Checking Accounts here: http://bit.ly/1oXjGgF. All of our Checking Accounts offer an unlimited number of transactions per statement cycle and a free instant issue TD Bank VISA Debit Card to use for purchases or withdrawals. If you need any help deciding which account is best for you, we invite you to use our helpful Checking Account Selector tool found here: http://bit.ly/KmmHe7.
If you're looking to start your savings Christine, you can review our available Savings & Money Market Accounts right here: http://bit.ly/1hzzhPT. We also offer a similar Savings Account Selector tool to help identify the right product for you. If you'd like some guidance on our Savings Accounts, you can find that here: http://bit.ly/1sxY9Rd.
When you're ready to open an account with us, you can do so right online through the links above by selecting the "Open Account" box. If you'd prefer to speak with a Banking Specialist and open the account(s) over the phone, please reach out to us anytime at 888-751-9000. Our Banking Specialists are available 24/7 to help guide you through the account opening process and answer any questions you may have along the way.
As always, you may visit your local TD Bank Store for assistance. Please take a look here if you'd like to sit down with a Banking Specialist to open your new account(s) in person: http://bit.ly/TDStores. Please stop by during lobby hours and we can set you up with a new account and issue you an ATM/Debit Card on the spot!
No matter how you'd like to open your new account(s), there are two forms of identification that we will need to process your information. If you are a U.S. citizen, we'll need your Social Security Number and a form of photo identification (Driver's License, Passport, state-issued I.D., etc.). If you're a non-U.S. citizen, then we'll need your Passport and another secondary form of I.D. (Driver's License, Nexus Card, Residence Card, etc.). Please have these I.D.'s available when you open your new account.
We hope this answers your question Christine. Please connect with us again if you have any more. Have a great day!
